Named after an American Legend and Frontiersman, Bowie Kennels is home to a History of Chesapeakes which have excelled in the show ring and field! Producing quailty Chesapeakes, we have obtained twelve conformation champions in as many years. Breeding for soundness, agility, and quality. we have strived to retain the natural hunting ability and working characteristics of the original Chesapeakes. Our dogs are proven working retrievers.
